No. Only six pre-approved house types are permitted on the development. These designs have been selected to align with the design code set by Stratford-on-Avon District Council and are appropriate for the Halford location.

Yes, while general planning for the development is already in place, we will still need to submit an individual planning application for your chosen house type. This is a simplified process, as long as the design meets the established design code. TAG will assist you with the required documents and planning submissions which can take 10 / 12 weeks through Stratford County Council.

Dan-Wood will construct your home off-site in their factory and then assemble it on your plot. The home is delivered as a turnkey solution, meaning it is fully finished—complete with flooring, bathrooms, painted walls, lighting, and internal doors. Fitted kitchens are available as part of the package or can be selected separately.

Once planning is approved and your design choices are finalized, your Dan-Wood home can typically be completed and ready to move into within a few months. On-site assembly and finishing usually take just a few weeks.

All utility connections are already in place, so there are no hidden infrastructure costs. Additional costs may apply for optional upgrades, landscaping, or custom finishes beyond the standard turnkey offering.

Dan-wood homes have a superb thermal installation, energy saving external doors, triple glazed windows and a ventilation system with heat recovery, making the property super-efficient. Air source heat pumps are installed in all homes.

Dan-wood provide a 20 year structural guarantee and a 12 month defect warranty. In addition an insurance back 10 year warranty is provided from Build Store which is often needed if funding is required.
